The Governor Hulett C. Smith Theater is the home of Tamarack’s Dinner Theater season. During the months February, March and April Tamarack bring the best production companies in the state with past productions such as, Steel Magnolia’s, Driving Miss Daisy, Greater Tuna, Love Letters and The Odd Couple.
Every summer, Tamarack teams up with Treehouse Arts Ensemble with Theater Day Camp. During this camp, students are taught the basic elements of putting a play together, Treehouse incorporates the production of an original play with activities and lessons to not only teach children these elements, but to put them into practice as the children perform their show for an audience of friends and family.
An annual tradition has become the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol. A story of a scrooge of a being who is visited by three ghosts in one night who make him see himself, past, present and future, to change his evil ways, for the sake of young, Tiny Tim.
